For this shoot, I set out to channel the gritty energy of early 2000s nu-metal—think raw textures, heavy moods, and unapologetic edge. But I wanted to twist it: by layering in a vibrant colour palette, I made the urban backdrop burst with life, turning the scene into something punchy and nostalgic, yet fresh. Everything was shot on a Nikon D5100 with the kit 18-55mm lens. I tried to keep the apereture closed off while trying to still maintain some depth of field. This is so I could get a good amount of sharpness in the images produced so the post processing grain effect would have a bit more punch to it.
